The Village People

Dr. Steven Giles received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He began working at Village Animal Hospital in 1992 and took ownership of the practice in 1994. He is a Member of the AVMA – American Veterinary Medical Association and the OVMA – Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Giles has served as a trustee for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation as well as a 4 year term on the executive board of the OVMA. In January of 2002, Dr. Giles was recognized by his peers as the 2001 Companion Animal Practitioner of the year for the state of Oklahoma. One of his most memorable and emotionally difficult professional experiences was when he was selected to be one of the veterinarians who cared for the rescue dogs at the site of the Murrah Building bombing. In his free time he enjoys gardening, wood-working or just about any other project involving tools!

Dr. Jerilyn Wright received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1992.  Upon graduation she practiced small animal medicine in Lubbock and Spearman, Texas before returning home to Oklahoma.  In her free time she keeps busy traveling to American Quarter Horse shows with her oldest daughter Lizzie and watching her other daughter Helen compete with the Oklahoma Figure Skating Club.  She has two devoted Golden Retrievers, Scout and Birdie.  Dr. Wright is a member of the American Veterinary and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Associations.
