Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Smart graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, where he developed a strong foundation for his passion for veterinary medicine. He furthered his education and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2012.
In October 2024, Dr. Smart became a proud part of the Village Animal Hospital legacy after dedicating many years to private practice. Committed to excellence, he strives to cultivate personalized bonds with each client, ensuring open communication and the highest standards of care for all his patients.
When he’s not caring for animals, Dr. Smart enjoys quality time with his wife, Angela, and their two daughters, Arwyn and Emerson. They share their home with four beloved dogs, two cheerful parrots, and a curious cat. As a family, they relish camping, kayaking, and fishing, embracing the joys of nature and outdoor adventures.
